Education & Learning at Rise Above Care

Rebuilding confidence. Reigniting potential. Restoring a love for learning.

At Rise Above Care, we understand that many young people arrive with disrupted educational experiences. They may have missed significant periods of schooling, fallen behind expected levels of achievement, or experienced challenges that made learning environments feel inaccessible or unsafe.

Young people come to us from diverse backgrounds and at different points in their learning journey—often with attendance levels below the national average and a lack of consistent academic support.

Our Educational Approach

Our primary aim is to support re-engagement with education in a way that suits each young person’s individual needs. Wherever possible, we promote attendance at:

  • Mainstream educational settings

  • Independent specialist schools

  • Or a combination of both, depending on the young person’s best interests

We believe that every young person is of equal value, and we are committed to ensuring they all have equal access to learning and opportunity—regardless of their background, ability, sex, race, or religion.

 In-Home Learning Support

If a young person does not have an education provision in place at the time of placement, we work in close partnership with:

  • The young person themselves

  • The placing Local Authority

  • External education professionals

Together, we arrange private tuition within the home, delivered by qualified tutors. This helps the young person:

  • Establish a structured daily routine

  • Regain confidence in learning

  • Set achievable academic goals

  • Prepare for a return to full-time education in a way that feels safe and manageable

 Investing in the Future

At Rise Above Care, we go the extra mile to ensure each young person receives the educational support and encouragement they need to achieve the best possible outcomes.

We believe that:

  • Education is a right, not a privilege

  • Every young person deserves the chance to succeed

  • With the right support, confidence, and consistency—every learner can thrive
